The HP tool will make it bootable and you can point it to the windows98 bootfiles which it will copy the needed files over for you when formatting it.   10. You simply create a DUMP which you then investigate with WinDbg on any other computer which has an Internet connection so WinDbg will obtain the correct symbols from the Microsoft server.
