- When using Norton Ghost to copy the drive don’t use or don’t select copy MBR.
- Also be aware that you must not do a copy drive into an existing partition or it will not work, it can only be done into unallocated space and Ghost must

maybe Vista. If you have an external HDD .. To ignore this error and backup this drive, select "Ignore bad sectors during copy" from the advanced options in the Drive Backup Wizard. That is what I am trying to do.
