I think you can only have 4 drives set as "active", drives need to be set to active to run an OS, so two would not able to run an OS.

Then tryed on a smaller HD, 17.2 just the same result. I have reformatted and done a clean install of windows 98. I do have Knoppix Linux and I do have the full XP pro SP2 disk.
