- When I remove the password it works fine.
- System File Checker will begin scanning for Error 3029 and other system file problems (be patient - the system scan may take a while).
- I had no problems before but since last Saturday, I've been getting a "Not a valid account name or password" error.
Anyone's got any ideas :-( SSP... I created a test user and password and > now can't get into any mdb file, getting the 'Not a valid account name or > password' error. I am using VWD 2008 EE. Cleaning up these temporary files with Disk Cleanup might not only solve your 3029 error, but can also dramatically speed up the performance of your PC.

Furthermore, a clean install of Windows will also quickly clean out any and all "junk" that has accumulated over the normal usage of your computer. While holding CTRL-Shift on your keyboard, hit ENTER. I see the system file. I get the message "Not a valid account name or password", then I click on the Help button which gives me "Error 3029".
If you did, there should be a file (*.mdw) somewhere.
