Socket Error 10060 Windows Live Mail
I have used PeoplePC for a few years without the software installed (dial-up with manual configuration). Subject 'Test Message.', Account: 'pop-server.tampabay.rr.com', Server: 'smtp-server.tampabay.rr.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E The connection to the server has failed. - I get the message box with all the particulars and that it fails to connect with the server.
- No difference.
- The FAQs said to use mail.twc.com.
Let me do some poking around to see if I can get the real 2011 installed and running. there is no "tools" on my Windows Live Mail! Similar error message as edthanet: The connection to the server has failed. The Connection To The Server Has Failed Socket Error 10060 I have Windows Live Mail 2011 and I have used the secure ports 465 and 995 checking the boxes.
